PCCA PLO-Diclogel Now Proven to Deliver Diclofenac Sodium into and Through Human Skin In Vitro!


PLO-DiclogelTM has excellent transdermal properties due to the lecithin, poloxamer and pracaxi oil complex.

This base has non-ionic characteristics which will tolerate the addition of acidic actives and salts. In addition, PLO-Diclogel is not affected by temperatures, and it can tolerate formulas with low pH (approximately 3) or high pH levels (approximately 10).

PLO-Diclogel is an excellent transdermal base option for dry and sensitive skin due to the minimal impact this product has on the skin’s lipids.

Independently tested using modified Franz cell systems, PCCA’s new PLO-Diclogel base has proven that diclofenac sodium 10% penetrated into and through human skin and that the rate of absorption and the total percentage permeation is consistently higher with PLO-Diclogel than PLO, which translates to quicker onset and potentially increased efficacy.
